Wrestling and Submission Wrestling Classes

One of the oldest and one of the most effective fighting systems in the world – Wrestling is both an Olympic Sport and essential skill for Mixed Martial Art fighters.

Our fully matted gym now offers Wrestling and Submission grappling classes to help you hone your grappling skills three days a week.

For grappling enthusiasts we also have Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes (wearing a gi) on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday which means you can learn to wrestling and grappling six days a week at our gym in Crawley.

Our Instructors

Our grappling classes are taught and overseen by Black Belt Keith McKenzie who’s been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 10 years and Rolanus Cizauskaus who’s background is in Judo, Wrestling, Sombo and MMA.

About the Gym

Established in 1996 the Crawley Martial Arts Academy is home to our Thaiboxing, White Collar Boxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team.

The gym is run by head-coach John Jarvis who has been teacing Thaiboxing for over 20 years and has expanded the team at the gym to include boxing and BJJ instructors.

Fully matted and equipped with boxing rings, punch bags, pads and fitness equipment our martial arts and combat sports gym boasts some of the best facilities in Crawley.

The gym is open 7 days a week for fitness and martial arts training for adults and children of all levels.  We have classes for all levels of experience and ability.
