If you’re looking to learn Muay Thai then one of the (maybe THE most) important things is that you are surrounded by experience and have the facilities to train hard, train often and train with the best.
With Muay Thai classes 7 days a week and classes for all levels (from beginners through to fighters) our fully equipped gym is one of the finest in the South East for anyone serious about learning the Art of 8 Limbs.
Established in 1996 our club has moved from school halls to leisure centers until finally settling in the Manor Royal Industrial Estate in Crawley – just 10 miles from the center of Horsham – where we now haveĀ team of professional instructors, professional fighters and all the facilities you need to get ahead in what many people regard as the worlds toughest sport.
What is Muay Thai?
One of the worlds most respected martial arts and widely regarded as one of the most effective striking systems on the planet Muay Thai is a complete striking system allowing punches, kicks, knees, elbows and clinching (a form of grappling) to twist and throw an opponent.
Combining the best of a traditional martial art with the physical attributes of a tough combat sport and the striking system of choice for many MMA fighters – Muay Thai training isn’t just a devastating self-defense system — it’s a great way to get in amazing shape and build a strong, lean athletic physique.
With an experienced team here our members are made up of locals looking to learn Muay Thai – Horsham, from Crawley, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Redhill and Reigate with friends who travel for fight preparation from Brighton, Portsmouth, Hastings, London and further afield.
Train to Fight or Train for Fun!
While we train a team of fighters our gym and the majority of our members train for fun, to get fitter and because our training is a lot more interesting that running on the treadmill or ambling around an unfriendly gym.
In fact many of our members started training to get fit, then started getting good and then started fighting and fulfilling lifetime ambitions.
So who knows where your training might take you!
Get Started
While we’re serious about training, respect for others is at the core of what we do.
We train and fight as part of the same Lumpini Fight Team and we make sure that fragile egos are left at the door (or asked to leave).
So whether you’re brand new to training or have traveled and fought professional in Thailand you’re welcome to come and be a part of our family.
